The General section of the device management page provides a comprehensive overview of your Beekee device, including key details and status information. This section is divided into several subsections, each offering specific insights and control options.
About
Device Name: Displays the current name of the device. Click the pencil icon next to the name to rename your device as needed.
Device Description: Here you can find a brief description of the device. To update or modify it, click the pencil icon next to the description.
Device Serial: This is the unique serial number of your device. It is fixed and cannot be changed.
Storage and Memory
Storage Usage: A blue bar indicates the current storage usage, displayed in both gigabytes (GB) and as a percentage of total capacity. This helps you monitor how much space is being utilized.
Memory Usage (RAM): RAM is crucial for the smooth operation of your device, affecting speed and performance. Here, you can view the current RAM usage.
Battery
Battery Status: Shows the current battery charge level as a percentage. Note: To optimize battery life, charging automatically stops once it exceeds 80%. This is important to maintain the battery's health and longevity. For full battery capacity, particularly in mobility scenarios, you can fully charge the battery by shutting down the device and connecting it to the power charger.
Power Charger: Indicates whether the device is currently plugged in and if it is charging.
Notes
Notes Field: A text field is provided for you to store any important notes related to the device. This could include location details, maintenance actions, or other relevant information. To add or edit notes, click on the "Edit" button.
